Diamond Wedding Celebration At Doncaster 1949

Their two bridesmaids, groomsman, and best man will probably be guests at the celebration of the diamond wedding of Mr and Mrs D. Williamson at their Doncaster home on Monday afternoon.
Mr and Mrs Williamson, who were married in 1889, and have spent all their lives in Doncaster, are the first residents to celebrate their diamond wedding.
Mrs Williamson has been a staunch Red Cross member since 1914, and she was the first treasurer of Don-caster Red Cross.
A church service to mark the occasion will be held in Holy Trinity Church, Doncaster, at 7.30pm on Monday, and the Ladies' Guild will later give a reception in the Parish Hall.
