c1900???  Class 3 at Doncaster State School number 197.  A girl in the front row has a tennis racket. There are only two rows, with eleven boys in the back row, and seven girls in the front row. A garden rake can be seen leaning against the wall. This is probably the same rake that the boy is holding in DP1201. The bricked-in window can be seen in the background. | This is one of about twenty photographs, once belonging to the late Mr. W. E. Goodson, a former headmaster of Doncaster Primary School [1898-1924], and recently given to our Society by the family of the late Mr L. J. Cameron.  DP1206 & DP1205

c1900 Senior class photo at Doncaster Primary School No. 197. In the back row one boy is eating an apple and holding a garden rake, another boy has a football, and yet another boy has what appears to be a pair of cricket bats. The photo is taken in front of a wall of the school and there appears to be a window that has been bricked in. Compare with DP1204, which may have been taken on the same day. This is one of about twenty photographs, once belonging to the late Mr. W. E. Goodson, a former headmaster of Doncaster Primary School [1898-1924], and given to DTHS by the family of the late Mr L. J. Cameron.  DP1201

There is a strong possibility that both photos were taken on the same day. | This is one of about twenty photographs, once belonging to the late Mr. W. E. Goodson, a former headmaster of Doncaster Primary School [1898-1924], and recently given to our Society by the family of the late Mr L. J.
