- One of our members is a descendant of Gottlieb Berger who was one of the executors of Gottlieb Simon's will and has details of the circumstances whereby Christian Bloom obtained ownership of the Simon property in King Street, Doncaster East.
- Julianne Frederiche's name disappeared after the headstone was destroyed by vandals during the first world war
- as her body was actually buried in Templestowe cemetery in an unmarked grave, her name was not replaced at Waldau.
