Doncaster Templestowe needs volunteers to help us transcribe all sorts of text so that it is searchable by the world community who may be interested in something that happened in Doncaster or Templestowe.

Voice typing with Google Docs is probably the most accurate voice to text system on earth.
It is free to use if you create a google account.

After creating a google account, you just open a new google document,

Click on "Tools" and select "Voice Typing"

A microphone icon appears on the screen with advice to "Click to speak"

Click the microphone to start recording.

Speak slowly and clearly and whatever you say is typed for you on screen......
