Donated to MUSEUM OF CHINESE AUSTRALIAN HISTORY by Doncaster Resident. Set of photocopied recipes distributed at Chinese cooking classes run weekly, over a six week period, in the early 1970s. The class was called "Chen's Oriental Delicacies" and according to the donor were run in the back of a grocery store, the name and specific address of which is unknown.
The donor recalls the store was close to what is currently 980 Doncaster Road, Doncaster, just before Blackburn Road on the right-hand side as one is leaving Doncaster, and recalls that the name "Fook's Cooks" was somehow associated with the classes.
Seeking the name of the grocery store or the person who may have run the store or the classes? No Mention in Sands and McDougall directories from 1970 and 1974.
